Patricia Tenpenny received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from Louisiana State University. She is currently teaching at MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN. For the last 20 years, Tenpenny has been teaching art at the college level. Areas of specialization include painting, drawing, 2 & 3 dimensional design, sculpture and art appreciation. Tenpenny currently teaches at Motlow Community College in Smyrna, TN and operates her own studio in Murfreesboro for private and small group classes. In her personal art, Tenpenny focuses on painting working with the subject of Sacred Geometry. She also studies and works with various mindful art forms, such as the Mandala, for meditation and healing purposes. Tenpenny believes that everyone can benefit from these mindful art practices regardless of skill level. It is her desire to share her knowledge and skills so that you too might enjoy the similar benefits. And besides, the Earth without art, is just Eh!
