Leo Bedsole is a Murfreesboro based artist who has been honing his skills in the arts for several years. Currently studying animation and art at MTSU, Leo is planning on working in the animation industry and using his skills in making cartoons. With 3 art shows under his belt, Leo has been focusing on meeting other artists and exploring new avenues when it comes to creative expression.
Leo’s traditional art incorporates nature and wildlife in a simplistic and expressive way, combining cartooning with animal portraiture. His works show the feelings of animals in a human way and plays with whimsy through movement and expression. Leo likes to challenge what you can see and feel from an animal’s guise with vivid color and exaggeration in proportion and scene, giving a look into the emotions of nature.
